Pyrrha’s Journey
At just fifteen years old, Pyrrha Tock kills a tiger in self-defense yet, instead of being seen as a survivor, she is sentenced to death. Her fate seems sealed, until Duke Yuddha, a charismatic leader, steps in and commutes her sentence. However, this reprieve comes at a cost: Pyrrha must complete three Herculean tasks, the first being to free Mount Omega from the ferocious dragon, Eruliaf.
This is a fantasy adventure story about the power of spirituality in overcoming challenges as a youth grows out of childhood into adulthood. Meditation and prayer are used as superpowers to overcome anxiety and uncertainty while navigating the way between fate and free will. Pyrrha must choose what she wants to do while facing her destiny. Bahá’i prayers are used within the text as they would be used in real life to move through difficulties.

A Hundred Thousand Hopes:
Stories About Prayer
Prayer is a powerful force for good in the world. It can lead us to new thoughts, feelings, and actions. As spiritual beings and writers, we gathered together a collection of personal stories about prayer—how it moves through our lives and changes us in small and great ways.
This past spring during a morning meditation, Rehema felt the inspiration to begin an anthology. When she shared the idea, Michelle and Anne immediately joined in! Soon, writers from several communities came forward with their own powerful stories to share.

Together, we bring many years of experience as writers, editors, artists, and collaborators. We value the time and care it takes to bring a project like this into the world, yet we also know the value of doing it well. Creativity in community can change the world.
